Grace Gall
Research Volunteer
Grace is a fourth-year undergraduate student in the Faculty of Health Sciences at Western University, pursuing an Honours Specialization in Kinesiology. She has developed her passion for promoting physical activity for childhood development through her experiences as a swim team coach for the Aylmer Optimist Arrows and extended-care camp coordinator. Grace has grown up playing soccer, swimming, and running cross country. As someone who has prioritized physical activity in her life, Grace is interested in the effects of physical activity on emotional and cognitive resiliency in children. In the Child Health and Physical Activity Lab, Grace hopes to promote active lifestyles among children within and beyond her community. Furthermore, she aims to understand how family-based programs influence a child’s attitude toward fitness. Outside of her academic ventures, Grace enjoys canoeing, reading and spending time with her friends and family.
